One of the key traits that sets Troop 70 apart from any other Troop in Newtown, is the fact that we have a very exciting and innovative program. Many people question what exactly, is our “program” and this can be answered quite simply by explaining that this is the key foundation upon what our Troop is built upon. Our program helps us plan outstanding meetings, day trips and camping trips for our members.

In addition Troop 70 has more resources to make our program better. We use many items such a canoes, and digital presentation tools to help enhance our program. In addition we meet in a unique location, which allows us to go swimming, hiking, build campfire, and even go sailing.

Our Troop prides ourselves by setting the standard in overall program planning and we will continue to build an even stronger program for the furture. As a member you will be able to work with us to make the program the best for you and our other members, now and in the future.
